Meet Evan A. Shields,
Founder & CEO
Evan A. Shields is Founder, CEO & Managing Partner of Indelible Capital Partners, an impact-driven real estate investment and advisory firm, proudly based in Miami, Florida.
As a business leader, educator and public servant, Evan has dedicated his life to advancing economic opportunity for underinvested communities. He has led the investment, development or asset management of more than $4.0 Billion in institutional commercial real estate across every major property type and 30 U.S. metro areas, as an executive, fund manager and investment professional. His work specifically in affordable housing has helped house more than 22,000 low-income seniors and families across 16 U.S. states.
Prior to founding IndeliCap, Evan served as Chief Operating Officer for a Miami-based family office focused on workforce housing, solar and infrastructure development. Evan has also held executive leadership roles in institutional capital markets, investor relations and acquisitions with New York- and Miami-based firms, including BridgeInvest, a leading institutional real estate debt fund, R4 Capital, one of the U.S.’ top affordable housing LIHTC and TEBs syndicators, and PGIM Real Estate, the global real estate business of Prudential Insurance.
Evan graduated from the University of Virginia, where he completed a distinguished major in Political & Social Thought. Both IndeliCap founding and Evan’s career have been inspired by his undergraduate fourth year thesis at UVa, Minority Entrepreneurship & Economic Development: Toward A Model of Capital Access.
After college, Evan began his career as a high school math teacher with Teach For America, becoming the third-generation in his family to serve in low-income schools. He went on to earn an MBA with a full-tuition scholarship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Kenan-Flagler Business School, with concentrations in Real Estate, Corporate Finance and Social Entrepreneurship. Evan is also currently a Public Leadership Credential candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School.
Evan resides in North Miami with his wife Dr. Adolphia Lauture-Shields, an OB-GYN, and their two-year old daughter Josephine. Outside of IndeliCap, he chairs the City of North Miami’s Affordable Housing Commission and serves on the on the boards of Miami’s Next Leaders, Teach For America Miami-Dade, the Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce and the City of North Miami Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Meet Donald Lindsey,
Managing Partner & CIO
Donald Lindsay is Chief Investment Officer & Managing Partner of Indelible Capital Partners, an impact-driven real estate advisory & investment firm, proudly based in Miami, Florida. Donald has devoted the last +17 years, managing the expansion of private equity backed companies, through the acquisition of companies and real estate. As an executive, he has led the investment and acquisitions of companies with a total valuation of over $1.0 Billion, across different assets and industry types.
Prior to joining Indelible Capital Partners, Donald served as the Senior Director of Mergers & Acquisitions for a private equity-based company, focused on managing the growth of a leading healthcare platform. While at this platform he helped to grow the platform through the acquisition of over $200 Million in acquisition targets. Prior to serving at the leading healthcare platform, Donald served as a Director of Strategic Finance, leading a Fortune 100 business unit’s acquisition and real estate expansion efforts throughout the Southeast. After several years of rapid expansion Donald led the operational diligence that resulted in the sale of the company to a Fortune 100 company. Prior to this Donald served as an investment banker advising both private equity and strategic companies on optimal capital solutions and merger & acquisitions.
Donald serves as a member of the University of Miami Citizens Board, which is a select group of business, professional, and civic leaders who actively support the University's philanthropic efforts and strategic growth.
Donald graduated from the University of Florida, where he completed a major in finance. He went on to attain both a Masters in Finance and a Masters in Accounting. Donald resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL with his beautiful wife, and two girls.

Operating Partner & COO
Alton C. Shields is COO & Operating Partner of Indelible Capital Partners, an impact-driven real estate advisory & investment firm, proudly based in Miami, Florida. IndeliCap is on a mission to invest $1 Billion over the next decade in real estate with an indelible impact on our world. IndeliCap strives to revitalize communities through the acquisition and development of market rate, mixed income, workforce housing, and single-family rentals across the Southeast U.S.
Alton possesses over thirty-five years of operations and executive leadership experience in real estate. He has collaborated with major corporate entities, franchise operations, and start-up companies within the commercial real estate and food & beverage industries across the nation. During his career, he has built, developed, and transacted over 300 commercial real estate deals. An entrepreneur at heart, Alton is the owner of Atlanta Brewing Company the first craft beverage company in the state of Georgia and was previously an owner of Mrs. Winner’s Chicken & Biscuits, a historic restaurant chain before successfully selling the brand in May 2019.
In addition, during his 20+ years as a small business consultant, Alton and his team have launched over 200 client-led small businesses, assisted in the creation of dozens of consumer products that are currently on retailer shelves, brought three broadcast and cable television shows to life, and raised over $150 million in funding for business emergence & expansion projects. He was also part of the creative team that developed and brought Ou-Oui! Premium Rum Liqueur to the US Market.
Alton served as the Board Chair of Central Alabama's Promise when it received the prestigious "Community of Promise" Award in 2004 from the Points of Light Foundation. In March 2007, Alton received the Silver Beaver Award, the highest recognition bestowed upon a volunteer for service to Scouting at the regional level. In addition, Alton was awarded both the Whitney M. Young, Jr., Award and the Vale La Pena Award by the Boy Scouts of America national organization. Alton is currently the Advisory Board Chair of People of Purpose CDC and Board Chair of HBCU Endzone, Inc.
Alton is a graduate of Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, with a BS in Industrial Management and Industrial Engineering, and went on to earn a MSM in Marketing Management from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA. Alton resides in Atlanta, GA with his beautiful wife, Sylvia.
